This way you can get an armored division with extremely high breakthrough, decent soft attack, sufficient armor and piercing. You could add some mot artillery or rocket to increase the soft attack. The balance of mec/mot/tank/TD is put to you, but you should really only use 1 TD. So i use the heavy gun, superstructure, sloped armor, welded armor etc. The tank destroyer is focused on armor and piercing. I use howitzers instead of a medium gun, because i value soft attack much higher than hard, though the medium gun is cheaper and provides some breakthrough. To get the most breakthrough, i use a 3 man turret, radio, x3 stabilizers and chisty suspension, IIRC 9 points into both armor and engine. I like to use mostly medium tanks with high breakthrough and howitzer together with a single medium tank destroyer battalion.
